Wiring problel

I have a 1978 ford ranger 2.3 fuel injected, there is a black plug and a white plug one of which goes to the front of the intake scupe and the other goes someplace else can you tell me which goes where Thanks

Hi Glen, Have looked for a diagram to find the wires you posted. You say you have a 1987 then you say a 1978. Need more information on where the wires are. Most likely if it is a 1978 they are for something that the truck that were not used. I found that in my wifes old 82 ranger. Sometimes there connections that don't even used for anything. Can you give me more information where they look like they are comming from or going? I will check with other moderators to see if they know more about it.
