I am replacing the steering wheel and switch. Now when I am putting it back together and turn the key it pushes the two pieces of colum apart where the gear lever and the two collars come together and want crank. I can hold them together and it cranks find. The crank rod to the switch inst broke. Did I leave something out between the two collars. That holds them in place or any ideals please.
