I broke a bulb off in the socket of the driver side tail light. I used a pair of channel locks to remove it and in the process I touched the wires coming out of the broken bulb and now both tail lights don't work. I checked the fuses and they're good. Its only the tail lights that won't come on, even with the nee bulb. Can u advise please ?

If you shorted out the bulb, then it had to blow a fuse. Double check them. Keep in mind, a fuse can look good but still be bad. You need to check it for continuity to confirm it is bad.
