How do I replace the key switch in my 1986 ford f-350 automatic work truck?

Disconnect the battery, remove the wiring from the starter, unbolt the starter from the trans, and reverse the procedure to replace. NOTE: If there are shims between the starter and the trans, make sure to reuse them.
