1985 BMW 635 Buying a Car

A BMW is one of the worst choices for a beginning driver, and my last choice for any car owner with little extra money to throw away on repairs. This is one of the least customer-friendly companies. Repairs are very expensive and many can only be done by the dealer. Check with your insurance agent on the cost of insurance compared to other car brands and models of the same age. Ask around at local body shops if they can perform repairs and what it will cost for anything compared to a different car needing the same repair. This car is old enough to need a lot of repairs and you can easily spend more on them than what you spend to buy the car.
