Removal and Installation of Ignition/Starter Switch:
1. Turn ignition key to position "1" (arrow ).
2. Disconnect plug connector (20 ) on ignition/starter switch (S2/1 ), reconnect.
3. Remove mechanical part of steering wheel lock (1 ), install. See: Starting and Charging Starting System Ignition Lock Service and Repair
4. Screw ignition/starter switch (S2/1 ) out of steering wheel lock (1 ), screw in, pull out, insert. Insert ignition/starter switch (S2/1 ) so that locating lug (arrow) engages in recess in steering wheel lock (1 ).
5. Check ignition/starter switch (S2/1 ) for proper function.
