Two issues

Two issues. May or maynot be related.
1). When shifting from 1 -3, car hesitates, once in 4th car runs strong with an occantional hesitation.
2). Recently had the intake boot replaced. Since then (5 months ago) car lights will flash on/off when car is cold, will loose power to radio, inside dome light will be dim. Seat belt light will flash on/off. I will shut the door and the dom light is brighter and after some driving time all symptoms go away. Also on the left side driver side I hear a clicking noise while all this is going on again shifting from 1-3. Once I'm in 4th all symptoms go away until I start to down shift and return 1-3.

Any solutions with question 1 or questioins 2?
