What coolant would u recomend for a 1979 Chevy.

The normal green stuff. Some newer engines are real picky and require specific additives to prevent corrosion. Stay away from Dex-Cool. The only thing worse than Dex-Cool is mixing it with something else. That will turn in into "Dex-Mud".
