1977 Chevrolet Silverado Take Transmission Transfer Case Out Chevy Bolt Into

Can I take transmission and transfer case out of a 1977 chevy and bolt it into a 1987 chevy pickup using a 1977 crossmember...will my gear ratios be ok too? I know about the drive shaft interchanges just the frame widths and gear ratios are what worry me for over the road.

it depends becaue there were several different t cases used as well as transmissions. you need to know what you have going in as wellas takin g out.t-case gear ratios will be about same.
