At Blazer-All you do is put the engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC align the vibration damper to 0/TDC markings, now remove the Blazer distributor-remove the distributor from the Vette dump it in making sure the rotor is pointing to no.1 cap tower and then find the ignition power which is the pink on the existing wire of the Blazer to the BATT terminal of the HEI -Also refer to this link:
