Chevy 350, trucks been down for 4 years, rewired new harness, can't get starter to turn. The ron francis wiring diagram instructs that the ignition, fuse box, and alternator connect to the battery terminal of the starter solenoid, as well as the battery feed. I only get power to the instruments if the fuse box is connected directly to the battery, not the starter. Neutral safety switch is connected to the S terminal of the solenoid. Friends don't seem to use safety switch and connect ignition to S terminal of solenoid. Solenoid clicked with the first turn of the key, now nothing. Battery is good, grounds are good. Could it be a bad starter?
