First off the truck was running somewhat for the most part fine and then I started stalling out like it was getting choked or something. I stopped at the store and then when I went to leave the truck will not stay running I had to keep my foot on the accelerator and as soon as I get off the truck would die call my brother and he drove it back home and as soon as we get home we try to start it back up and it made a really really loud like screeching found underneath the hood and would not start what could this be

the screeching sound may be a fan belt that is loose the earlier trucks loved to eat them up because they would wear . as far as not keeping running make sure it's charging and battery is in good condition including load test. auto parts tire stores do for free. then check to make sure your choke isn't broken or rod came off carb, o r maybe time for a rebuild on carb..
