1970 Ford F 100 Having Problems Alternator Light Staying On Replaced Battery

I am having problems with the alternator light staying on. I have replaced the battery and alternator and it is still coming on. I have replaced battery cables and cleaned the ground. I have had it checked by the local parts store and not getting much help. Can you guide me in the right direction.

So at idle what is the voltage at the battery?
