When removing driveshaft from diferenchil is it nessesery to mark axle be 4 removing

It is customary to mark the shaft so it can be reinstalled the same way to prevent vibration, but it is not necessary. The pinion yoke and drive shaft balance won't change by changing how they're bolted together.
