Having a problem with my 64 ford galaxie taillights and instrument panel lights seems the brake lights don't work when pressing the brake pedal and having the same problem with instrument panel light. Is this a fuse or bulb problem? Thank you for your service and response.

The dash lights don't light up when you press the brake pedal? That would be a good thing. When you have multiple problems like this, first check for blown fuses, and if you find any that are blown, look for a trailer wiring harness with wires that are chewed up and touching, and wires inside the trunk that are grounding out. It's not going to be a bulb problem because there's at least half a dozen in the instrument cluster, and you know they didn't all burn out at the same time.

A defective dash light rheostat will cause no dash lights too, but that has nothing to do with the brake lights.
