We have three codes on our vehicle; c0055, c0300, and p0502 x2. We have replaced the VSS already. There are three sensors on the transfer case that all looked the same our auto parts store gave us the same sensor for all three. We replaced them all. We are still getting the above codes and additionally our transmission will shift hard from first to second, but will not shift to third nor will it shift back down now, until we turn the vehicle off. Any guidance would be great, with school starting we really need this vehicle to be safe for our girls.

Does this car have the same size tires front and back?

Best, Ken

It sounds like you have a computer that is out but to be sure you need to connect the car to a scanner that can read live data. I have a hunch that it is not seeing any data stream which causes the codes.

Here is the computer location which will need to be programmed.

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
