Can you swap to a carburetor on a 96 S-10

I am dirt tracking a 96 s10 with a 2.2 liter and I am really tired of all the computer stuff and all these sensers I am wanting to get to the basic's of just a carburetor and no computer is there any way I can do this. Please help!

It can be done but you are going to have more problems later on.

What you need are:
1. Carburettor w/intake manifold.
2. Fuel pump for carburetted models.
3. Wireharness or at least you need to fiddle wwit the original.
4. Distributor.

Can u point me in the right direction as to where I can find the intake for the carb. IV look everywhere it seems like and haven't found anything yet I plan on pulling the motor and putting a striker kit in it that's one of the reasons im wanting to change be cause I don't think I can get a programmer to get the computer to work with the modifications
