1999 Volkswagen Passat FAN STOPPED WORKING

All of suddend my car fan stopped working. Any suggestions?

Do you have a fuze diagram? Also, how to check the relay?

It will be 2 fuses in the auxiliary fuse panel ( under left side of dash) , a 5 amp and a 30 amp, I do not have their specific placement so may have to check them all in that panel.the relays will be there as well.. to learn how to check a relay follow this link..https://www.2carpros.com/how_to/how_do_i_check_a_relay.htm

I checked all the Fuze and it works fine. I will look into Relay and test it. Yesterday when I tried to push the AC button, it came on and I can feel the cool air coming but not in the regular force when fan was acutally spinning. But after a minute, it went off.

Hi dpatel1682,

Do you mean the blower fan that is not working?

Symptom indicates the fan motor is bad and would work intermittently.

Turn A/C on and bang the blower housing with your hands. If the fan starts working, the blower fan motor is bad and has to be replaced to rectify.
