I have renewed cap, rotor, wires, checked resistance on primary coil and voltage with ignition switch on at both terminals to ground(12V), checked primary coil positive to high tension and again well within spec, pick up coil - all coil readings are well within the spec given in Haynes repair manual. I had a similar problem about a year ago & replaced the distributor & was OK for last 10 months. When this started about a month ago after a day or two it would start right up then not start after overnight sitting - that was bad as not able to investigate problem, now cranks but not firing at all - only thing I have not replaced is ignitor assembly - any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.
