2001 Pontiac Grand Am wont start

My question is: my grand am wont start. It ran on sunday just fine. I got in today and it wont fire. It turns over but wont light. Battery is fine and I have no way of checking anything else. All the accessories work but the car wont start. Help!

Turn the key to the on position and listen, you should hear the fuel pump turn on for approx 3 seconds.

Yes it comes on then the humming noise stops. Just tried it again, still not starting

Now you have to check if you have spark.
Remove one of your spark plugs and plug the wire back into it and ground it
Then have someone turn the car over while you watch for spark.

Got spark. Found the problem. Checked fuel pressure. It had none. At shop now. New fuel pump and filter going in. Thanks for the help!
