I have 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. Well I got home late last night like at 3:00am. Well we have been gettin some really cold weather, and last night be for I got home it was about 15 bellow wind chills with very strong winds. I got up this morning at like 9:00am to move my car for my husbands parents, I tryed to start it and it missed fired. I tryed it again and all it keept doing was wanting to start but just keept miss fireing. Know can that be a frozen line like frozen fluied since we are at like 25 below wind chills with high winds?Or is there somthing majorly wrong with it? And if so what would it be?

Spray some starting fluid in the throttle body while cranking, if it runs for a few seconds then dies, it is fuel related (water in fuel, fuel pump).

If it does not run for a few seconds, then it is most likely an ignition problem (coil, ign. Module etc.).
