2000 Pontiac Grand Am Pontiac Grand Am 2000 stalling all th

I'm hoping u can help me I own a pontiac grand am year 2000. With 157181 as millege. Recently my car has been stalling out on me 4-6 times a day. Especially when I am turning. I brought my car for an oil change and had my mechanic look at it he had it running for a while and only stalled once. He put the computer up to it and nothing came up he supposly checked it all and nothing came up the machine (computer). I don't know what to do. I have a 4 year old daughter. The last time I drove with her I was driving came to a red light and my car stalled I tried to make it to the far right lane. When I put my hazards on and tried hard to pull over my car I had my foot on the brake and my car started going faster yes instead of throwing it into neutral I threw it in park my daughter and I both came forward. And it seemed as if we were rear ended and my front end felt like it fellout I waited a moment and started my car right up as if nothing had happened. Mind you the stalling before this Incident. I'm very paranoid driving with my daughter because of this situation. Especially when a mechanic couldn't find anything on the computer. But I'm not sure if this matters or not when I do stall out the only 2 lights that comes on our only my oil light ( just got an oil change) and the battery. That's all I hope u can help me thanks beth
