1999 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Automatic 102000 miles

i got a fuel pump put n my GT and every since I got it back 90% of the time it wont start right away like it was before he fixed on it it take between 2 to 4 tries before it will start what didnt he do right? And yes the filter was replaced

The only thing you can do here if you think it's a fuel problem is to have the fuel pressure checked. If it's low like 50 P.S.I. Then that's why. If not it may be an iginition problem.
