1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Manual 87,456 miles

I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutless Cierra and somehow my car cuts on for 5 seconds and then it cuts off. I know it is not my battery because my lights cut on, I know it is not my fuel pump. On Wed, a local mechinc looked at my car and said that it is my fuel injectors but how can it be my fuel injectors if my car does not have that many miles on it? I tired of spending money on litttle things that different people keep telling me that might be the problem and I do not want to get a new car becasue I just got that car.

Change the fuel filter first, and check for voltage at the fuel injectors.

Injectors can go bad due to bad or contaminated gas.

How are you so sure that the fuel pump is not bad.
