1996 Nissan Maxima car don't want to start

I have to try alot of times for the car to start. It's like something is not catching for it to start. My security light keeps blinking

Try unlocking the trunk, then see if it will start. There is an onboard diagnostic system, but in typical Nissan fashion it is an act of congress to get into it. Have you tried to start it in neutral?
