2000 Mercedes Benz C180 gear change

When I worked at Mercedes I always discovered that when this happens it is usually because the auto gearbox is due an oil and filter change. They are best being changed every 60,000 miles to prevent problems with the gearbox and to also prevent your gears grinding.
