When I shift into drive I am unable to accerlate, I have to turn the car off and shift gears slowly. I would like to know what do think may be causing this problem. Its time for an oil change and air filter replacement. Please help me. Thanks

I am having difficulty understanding your question.

What do you mean you are unable to accelerate?

Turn car off and shift slowly?

Did you check the fluid level?
