1999 Honda Accord Engine Light On

Hello!
The engine light is on. The car stalls periodically when I come to a stop, feels like an electrical issue, when it feels like it's about to stall, if I put the car in Neutral, the car does not stall, but in in "Drive" mode and I do not shift to Neutral, it stalls. Please advise. If you know of a reputable mechanic in Murrieta, CA, please let me know as well. Thanks!

Hi irihat,

Go to Autozone to have a scan performed, ( they do it free ) to retrieve the Check Engine Light showing and let me know the exact trouble code.

The stalling is an idling issue and might or might not be related to the CEL. If it is not related, then you need to check the throttle body and Idle Air Cintrol valve. Some cleaning and readjustment of the idling speed should aolve the problem.
