1999 Honda Accord Engine dies at normal driving speed

While running around 65 mph, during normal freeway driving, the engine suddenly, without warning shutdown. I imediately re-started it and it ran fine. About two days later, it did it again with the same results. I have since parked it. A garage told me that they didn't know what would cause it and couldn't diagnose it untill it happens again.
Any ideas as to what may be causing it? The battery & battery cables are new.

A lot of things could cause it. And with it starting right back up will make it difficult to diagnose.

But, I've replaced a lot of ignition switches on Honda and Nissan cars.

Yes, the ignition swith is the mosst common cause of this.

There was a safety recall on the item and you can try calling the nearest dealer to check if your vehicle qualifies for the recall.
