1999 Honda Accord Cutting off

1999 Honda Accord 6 cyl Automatic 180000 miles

I have a 99 honda accord coupe. While going down the road my car will cut off, all the lights will flash and then start back up and keep going. Recently it has started to not start back up and I have to pull on the side of the road to start it back. It usually starts afterwards but sometimes it takes a couple of trys. I took it to the Honda place and my mechanic, they both said it was not reading any codes so they really didn’t know what to do unless they just start changing random parts. They keep it for a few days to see if it would cut off with them and of course it didn’t. So where do I go from all this? This is my only transportation and I cant really afford to wait till it leaves me stranded on the side of the road. Any ideas that I can give the mechanic a heads up on anything certain? Thanks
