1997 Honda Accord Rattle during certain RPMs.

I have a 97 Accord EX 2.2L 5 speed manual. During acceleration through the gears the car makes a rattling sound around 1800 RPM, brief lasting only a second each time, but annoying. I know that Hondas in general have been known to have heat shields that start making rattling noise and its normal. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

Your right about heat shields. Let car cool start banging on shields when you find loose one maybe able to wire tie it down or stuffing heat resistant material between pipe and shield.
