1991 Honda Accord Car will crank but will not start

1991 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have checked the fuel filter and it is very open. I put a long thin screwdriver in a a spark plug wire wnd can not arc on to metal. I think I have no spark and was curious if you can tell me where the spark comes from? I know how a distributor and rotor works but where does the spark come from?
Please help.

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer.
