1996 Ford Taurus car wont start after running

Replaced gas filter you can hear fuel pump working but the car keeps cranking changed spark plugs could it be cold start sensor I really havent tried to check for spark since I am alone an there is nobody to turn the car over too check for spark

What's a cold start sensor? There are temp sensors to help the engine determine the best fuel program to use on startup, hot vs cold. If one has failed car should still start. Any neighbors close by?
