truck will not even turn over also no lights, radio, door dinging. Nothing when the key is turned to the start position. I'm going to attempt to hand start it, but iave no clue what I'm doing. My main question is when I do this is the key suppose to be in the ignition and if so what position does it need to be in?

Hand start, you mean jump the solinoid? #1 OUT OF GEAR! Or IN PARK. EMER BRAKE ON. KEY in ON position/ not start position. Jump "S" terminal on solinoid---TO---POS BATT or BATT side of solinoid. You are bypassing the KEY in MOMENTARY START POSITION (where key is before it springs back on you)

I REALLY DO NOT THINK PREVIOUS IS YOUR SOLUTION !

I have mainly experience w/ older vehicles, JEEPS and FORDS. On older stuff, MOST accessories (Headlights etc.) Are coupled to POS BATT on the BATT side of the SOLINOID, you will usually see several connectors stacked w/ the big BATT cable.(New stuff could work different).I would check BATT and SOLINOID for tight, Clean Connections. INSURE YOUR BATT DOES HAVE A GOOD CHARGE (not dead, DUH!). TAKE THEM LOOSE ANYWAY AND CLEAN. Even if your pal says they look OK. See my profile. Willing to keep helping. Love, Turddog
