The sound is most likely from the belt. On cold mornings, the alt places more of a draw on the engine / belt. Thus, there is a higher chance of it slipping.

Check the belt's condition and make sure the tensionier is in good condition and the belt is tight.

The belt is like 2 months old so its in pretty good condition
