My car turns over but will not start. I checked the fuel cutoff switch and everything else. It gets fuel to the injectors but still won't start. The fuel cutoff light on the dash will not turn off even though I reset it, so what is wrong!

I had this problem with a friend of mine, he has the same car, what I found was the mass airflow sensor was dirty, but before I cleaned it, I checked the filter, it was filthy and the little sponge breather inside the airfilter compartment was saturated with blow by fume build up/oil. So I replaced the breather, the filter, and replaced the pcv valve(which was the reason why the breather was saturated with oil). Problem was solved.
