Hi my 94 dodge will start and run fine but with no warning it will stop running had it towed 3 times in the last month. Had the cap and rotor replaced ran good for day then had the coil replaced and it ran good for a week. Check engine will come on on a long run but then goes out after the truck sits a while had a mechanic hook it up no codes were found. After it quits when trying to start again I can smell gas

If you smell fuel, either you have a leak or the plugs are not burning the fuel in the engine. Therefore, you need to check for spark when the truck doesn't start. Also, if you have spark, check to make sure you have good fuel pressure.

Let me know what you find.

NOTE: Here is a how to for checking fuel pressure.
