1997 Dodge Caravan Will not Start

Hello

First time I had this problem was 5 days back. When I turn the key seems like there is no power coming to on, not even the lights. At First I thought is a battery problem but when I turn the key backwards the radio is fine. After 5 or 6 trys the van started up. It has been fine until this morning same problem, however, this time it did not work after 5 or 6 trys. I hear electric sound from the van when trying to start it.

Sorry I know it is difficult to understand. I hope you will be able to understand what I am trying to so.
