I have a 1996 5.0l truck and ive replaced the upper and lower intake gasket set and replaced the injectors. And now it wont start. First. I set the motor at tdc with rotor poiting at the 8 on the distributer housing and it points at the #1 cylinder, and hermonic balancer marks are lined up. I have great fuel pressure and compression is great on all cylinders. Spark is hitting hard out of coil but is weak out of plug wires. Have replaced cap, rotor, wires, plugs. And cam sensor. Ohms through wires r good. Theres no visable problems on cap or rotor. Truck ran when droped off before work was preformed. Have check wireing volts to all sensors crank, cam, ect no wiring problem. It does act like wants to for abouut 3 rotations then wants to vapor lock due to not firing the fuel.

Sorry for the delay in response

Put the engine no1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC and line the crank pulley to TDC/0 on the timing scale-the rotor should be pointing to the no.1 cap tower if its ppinting to no.8 you're 180deg off-pull out the distributor and restab it making sure the rotor points to no.1-get back with me asap
