I have a 95 S10 Blazer which just had new motor put in
been runing fine- then wouldn't start even when trying
starting fluid, seemed like there was no spark jumping
could this be coil related? After car sat for a while
it eventually started (having spark) at this time.

65 psi is a little high 55-61 is spec was the reglator replaced with the spider?
When it happens again pull the coil wire from the dist cap and check there, there are several components to the system that need to be checked, crank and cam sensor input especially, they both determine whether or not to fire the coil

Try the coollant temperature sensor this one tells the computer how much fuel is needed during initial start before it goes to closed loop at which time the O2 sensor will adjust fuel accordingly.

Well I finally got the thing runing, but now it stalls-shuts
down while driving for a short period of time.
Then it has to sit for while before starting up
i just rechecked every/& all fuel lines/fuses/circuits/relays/
vacum lines/ you name it!
Any Ideas why it stalls/shuts down while driving?

Yes a scanner was put on it, all that came up was
misfire-(egr. Evap. ) Said ok to drive
cleared all codes and went to drive it, but started to
bog down and then shut off, got it runing again, but same thing (bog down then shut off ) Ieven went as far as
droping tank today (draining fuel) rechecking pump
everything fuelpump wise OK!

The misfire code and egr would cause those problems, if you know the code #s I can help you in checking them before replacing

To catch this culprit-you have to check for fuel and spark when it stalls out and I mean immediately.

I'll have to get scanner tomorrow from brother-in-law
then should be able to get codes if any.
I have another question for you, it says that while car is
running to disconnect fuel pump relay to see if it is ok,
is it true that when this is done, and the car shuts off
it means that the oil pressure switch is faulty
is that true

The reason I'm asking about this relay, would that
have anything to do with car shutdown
(oil Pressure switch) being faulty?
