Hi,

My s-10 will not start when cold or when it hasn't been started in a day. If it hasn't been started in 4 or 5 hours, it is difficult to start. The fuel pump starts up (can hear it kick in), starter works, spark plugs were replaced a few months ago. I have a relatively new fuel filter as well. Currently, in order to start my truck in the morning, I have to pour a bit of gas into the throttle body and then start the truck, giving a bit of gas once she starts. Do you have any idea what may be happening?

Thanks

You need to check the fuel pressure/volume could be the fuel pump is getting sloppy and on its way out/defective pressure regulator not maintaining the fuel pressure also test out the coolant temperature sensor-
