I just bought my jimmy a few days ago and it seems to have the same problem as most do with Trouble starting. It will turn over but won't start. Sometimes it works then sometimes it won't. It has a new transmission, alternator, fuel pump and fuel filter and spark plugs.

That spider fuel system is known for problems. When the problem is ongoing, if you spray a little starter fluid past the throttle valve, will it start? I usually take the air-duct loose, open throttle valve, spray jjust a little, stand back, have helper crank. There are safety issues with any flammable spray. Safety is your responsibility. Can you give us a fuel pressure spec?

Engine cranking, did you visually check for spark at the plugs? Any applicable trouble codes?
