Truck not starting

Starter does not always engage when key is turned. I already changed out the neutral safety switch, what else can it be?

Do you hear a single kind of loud clunk each time you turn the ignition switch to "crank"? If so, suspect worn solenoid contacts. This is real common in the little silver Nippendenso starters. The contacts can be replaced for 20 bucks but most people just replace the entire starter.
