Is the Check Engine Light indicating?
Were the spark plug wires checked/tested?
Do you have any issues with overheating and coolant losses?
Was any other repairs done prior to this occurring?

Have the spark plug wires and engine compression tested.

Other possible causes could be the fuel injectors.

If it is not reading anything, it is faulty. Replace it and retest.
