The car doesnt fire up, my husband thinks it needs to have the ignition coil replaced. My question is would I need to replace the ignition wires, battery and alternator as well. The car hasnt ran for about a month, and we live in a city that is cold (8 - 40 degrees)

Find out what is wrong and replace anything that has been confirmed to be faulty.

The saying is " If it is not broken, don't fix it"

I would check the fuel system first.
