My engine was rebuilt approximately 40,000 miles ago. Only used occasional. Transmission rebuilt about same time. All belts, hoses, all new A/C, radiator, and runs like a sewing machine. No skip or miss, but water or coolant on my dipstick. Any ideas?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just quick question first. As well as noticing coolant in the engine oil crankcase are you noticing as well engine motor oil in the radiator and radiator overflow bottle? Get back to us and we'll go from there.

Here is a guide that will get us started on this issue.

The most likely cause of this is a head gasket but there are other things so we should start eliminating it.

Here is a guide to test the head gasket.
