My daugther was driving my car and a noise happened driven about 60 miph shortly after that the car electrics reset while driven and this happened twice after that. I found looking at it. The radiator fans do not work unless the AC is on. The engine was overheating. Any ideas? Water pump replaced at 93,000.

Hi Ryan,

The radiator fans would not work with the AC OFF unless the temperature to operate the fan thermal switch is reached. If they are not working while the engine is overheating, then you need to check the thermal switch.

Is your vehicle equipped with manual or automatic AC system?
