I am leaking coolant, we thought it was coming from the hose from bottom of thermostat housing but it is still leaking. There is a "bolt" (that is what it looks like) under the engine where a 6-7" horseshoe shaped rubber hose connects...I do not know what it is called but there is a perfectly round hole here and it looks like it is leaking. The hole looks factory made, is it supossed to be here. I am going to try to attach a picture.

Hi there, there is no hole in the thermostat housing. If that is indeed a drilled hole, it may be a place to bleed air out of the system. Have you removed it to see if there is a passage through it?

Ok, I have been asking questions based on what I was told. Apparently it is not actually on housing. There is bypass hose? It is 6-7" horseshoe shaped rubber hose underneath the side of the motor the part it connects to has the hole. We do not know what the part is called it is on the side of engine toward bottom a little above oil filter.
