how do I replace the starter in a 2000 toyota corolla

Raise car, put on stands. Remove negative battery cable.

Remove stone gaurds for better access to starter.

Remove electrical connections to starter.

Remove two bolts to starter.

Install new starter, connect electrical, replace stone guards, connect negative battery cable, start car.

Remove stands, lower car.
