I recently changed my oil and just out of curiosity I went to check my spark plugs being I had 10000 miles and never a tune up. When I went and pulled the first boot off it was filled with oil, scared the heck out of me. Took the spark plug out and the firing of the plug seem fine it being clear of any oil. My question is where did the oil come from it was clean oil like I had spilled it and it went to that spot but I didn't spill it and the other three spark plugs were dry just that first plug

The oil came from ur valve cover gasket there is a gasket around each plug hole replace the gasket it is easy. Just make sure u put a bead of silcone across where the front cover meets the head across the the gasket surface or the new gasket will leak. Let me know how it goes or if u have anymore questions.
